ISCAR is introducing new compact modular adapters for parting and grooving applications.

The new system comprises the following elements:
NMAHR/L-JHP Holders with high pressure coolant channels for MODUGRIP adapters

D/HGAD RE/LE-JHP Parting and grooving adapters with channels for high pressure coolant, for DO-GRIP inserts

TGAD RE/LE-JHP Parting and grooving adapters with channels for high pressure coolant, for TANG-GRIP inserts

PCAD RE/LE-JHP Parting and grooving adapters with channels for high pressure coolant, for PENTA 24 inserts

Features

New compact attachment system enables design of modular tools in envelope dimensions of integral shank tools with similar sizes
There is no under head protrusion, which enables system to be used on most machine types
Very accurate and rigid attachment as machining forces are not exerted on the clamping screws
No set up time due to high edge location repeatability after adapter indexing
Coolant channels with exit directed to the cutting edge
DO-GRIP, HELI-GRIP, TANG-GRIP and PENTACUT adapters can be clamped on the same toolholder
Economical solution, as a damaged pocket can be replaced while keeping the shank

MODUGRIP is the most compact system in the market today, as other standard systems feature larger tool head dimensions
